After your Tarangire adventure, continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and check into your lodge or safari camp. Enjoy dinner and relax in the cool highland environment.
The following morning, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater is one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations, supporting a remarkable concentration of animals within its natural walls.
Search for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.

Tarangire is famous for its elephants, baobab trees, open grasslands, and seasonal rivers. Keep your camera ready for possible sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, antelopes, monkeys, and numerous bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in an approved area before continuing your game drive.
In the afternoon, leave Tarangire and travel toward the Ngorongoro highlands.

Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or evening, depending on road and safari conditions.
